Description

Lumberjack Root Beer was created in the Northern woods of Michigan. After a long hard day of sawing and chopping timber, a woodsman would want something to quench his thirst, while not dulling his mind. You know that alcohol was banned in the lumber camps after Lefty had his accident. He tipped a few to many beers, then participated in the ax throwing contest. The men needed something more than lemonade or water. Having the body of a good dark beer was important to the men. They found the perfect brew and started using some ceramic German beer mugs to drink it. Because of their strength, the mugs kept breaking when they would slam them down. Jimmy the foreman, being clever, got a pot from Eddie the cook. He bent a handle around and came up with a perfect solution. A big mug that was durable and unbreakable. The metal helped keep the foam in check while maintaining the flavor of the root beer.

Lumberjack Root Beer was born.

We bring it to you today, only available at local festivals like J.J. Hills in Wayzata, September 8th and 9th where sales will help support the local Boy Scout troop.

Just remember - you can't go bigger than with Lumber Jack Root Beer.
