This unique multi-media art piece was created by Anchorage artist Brenda Milan.  Fashioned from willow, handmade paper, found wire, hog intestines and ink, it was inspired by the poem "Solitary" by Patricia Moreth.  The hog intestine is a metaphor for the skin of the kayak, the dripping paper the drizzle.  A freestanding piece that measures 23" h x 12" w  x 4" d.
