Dream Consultation for 1 hour- C.G. Jung, the founder of Analytic Phychology, defined the dream in broad terms as spontaneous self-portrayal in symbolic form of the actual situation in a person's unconcious. He said further that the dream is an unconcious anticipation of a future concious event. Actively engaging our dreams can be seen as a visiting consultant who "speaks" to us through images. If one understands the language and takes it into account, one can support the effort toward inner growth and development through the life span. Shira Marin, M.A., MFT, has been studying the language of dreams and consulting to others for almost 30 years.
