The hike is approximately 4.5 hours long on the beautiful rock circuit trail. 3.7 miles. Much of the trail traverses rocky outcrops in this corner of the park, providing a variety of scenic views, including views of Boston.

The trail was mentioned in the August 2005 issue of Fitness Magazine on page 24 as number 3 in a list of top 10 hiking trails from the American Hiking Society and Aspen Edge.

Lunch provided for up to 5 people.

A visit to nearby Spot Pond Archeological District is optional. The area is a site where mill activity took place for over 150 years. This site, also known as Virginia Wood, was the first land trust deeded to the Trustees of Reservations, founded 1891.
