The Magic of Russian Ballet' brings together three contrasting, best-selling ballet programs.  These dvds include "The Nutcracker", "Return of the Firebird", and the "Essential Ballet".

Headed by the Kirov Ballet’s charming, pastel-shaded production of the perennial Christmas favourite, Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, the set also includes Russian ballet superstar Andris Liepa’s colourful film recreations of the original Ballets Russes stagings of Stravinsky’s Firebird and Petrushka, plus Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade. The set is completed by Essential Ballet – a two-hander DVD combining the Kirov Ballet’s appearance at the ‘Welcome Back, St Petersburg’ concert at Covent Garden, with a star-studded gala performance of Russian favourites from Red Square, Moscow.
