Story behind "Smile It's Today" quote:

It started in a small summer cottage known to everyone in our family as "The Laughing Place". Above the kitchen door is an old chalkboard that, in my grandmother's handwriting, sends a simple message to all who pass through...SMILE IT'S TODAY.

This message is a reminder to live in the moment, appreciate what you have and to live life to it's fullest. Not only did my grandmother write it-she lived it and passed it on to every generation in our family thereafter.

We lost both my grandmother Mame, and mother Lee, to cancer before their time. Through it all they kept smiling, enjoying life's moments and inspiring those around them. Our family started this company in their memory, keeping their spirit alive and to encourage all people to find their laughing place.
