Bob Kevoian and Tom Grisworld started the show The Bob &Tom Show. This program featured on radio everyday early in the morning and was started in the year 1983 at WFBQ in Indianapolis, Indiana. As time passed this program gained popularity and as WFBQ owns more than a thousand radio stations, the show enjoyed a large share of market. Not only this, the program is one of the most popular show in American radio. In the show they are also partnered by Chick McGee who does commentary in sports as well as some of the comic foil. Kristi Lee is the news anchor.

The show is about comedy variety shows and everyday it has guests that includes comedians of fame as well as amateur, sports personalities and also other celebrities from Indiana and Indianapolis connections. In addition to them, sometimes the hosts plays pre-recorded comic songs and skits, that has been borrowed from the large library archived pieces. The Bob & Tom Show has been nationally syndicated since 1995. The show was also awarded the prestigious Marconi Award by the National Association of Broadcasters in the year 1993, 1995, 1997, 1999. One of the very few show that has received awards for four times. Apart from this, it also received "The Billboard Magazine Radio Personality of the Year" award, from the year 1991 till 1998 consecutively. In 1994 The Bob and Tom Show were also awarded The Sagamore of the Wabash. In 1996 they were awarded the National Chairman's Citation Award from the Leukemia Society of America for their fund as well as creating awareness for the Leukemia Society.

Bob was born in the year 1950 in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from Long Beach State University in the year 1973. Before starting his career in the radio, he traveled extensively with a theater group known as "The Young Americans".

Tommy Grisworld was born in the year 1953 in Cleveland. He graduated in the year 1971 from the University School in Chagrin Fall. He started his career in Florida in a radio station and then moved to Michigan. It was in the year 1983 that he was offered to join WFBQ. He became fast friends with Bob and together they established "The Bob & Tom Show".

Friends of Bob and Tom TicketsThen there is Kristi Lee who is the News Director of the The Bob & Tom Show. She is also one of the prettiest face in the studio and is a news caster. The legendary Chick McGee is the Sports Director for the The Bob &Tom Show. It is hard to find anyone as compared to Chick who has got the better comedic timing and possess a dramatic announcer voice. Well, the producer of the show is Dean Metcalf. He is also the lead guitar player in The Electric Amish and also lends his voice to some of the popular characters such as The Pope, jumbo the Elephant and Bill. He is also an accomplished guitar player and loves bluegrass music.

There are many friends of the Bob and Tom Show, but some of the special guests are Donnie Baker, Drew Hastings, Bob Zany, Greg Hahn, Kristi Lee, Mike Armstrong and Roy Wood. In addition to it they are also known for their charitable work. They have also released an album that contains 30-plus comedy. The album has gained much popularity and have generated millions of dollars. This money was donated to various charitable institutions that are working for the welfare of the needy people. Not only this, every year in the month of October, Chick conducts a prostate exam that is aired in the radio as Proctober promoted by Bob and Tom. This programme aims to raise awareness for prostate cancer among the people.
