Corn, the dominant grain used in making Jack Daniel's, is the Bishop. As the Knight, we have the famous office safe that Jack kicked (the event eventually led to his early death). A rick of hard sugar maple wood (which is burned to make the charcoal for the mellowing process) is the Rook. The pawns are the Jack Daniel's Black Label bottle as we know (and love) it today. The wood board , which sports the Jack Daniel's logo, actually doubles as a carrying case for the pieces.
