Description
A set of 15 pieces of rare ancient Chinese coins traced from Song Dynasty. Each has a square cut in the middle of the coin. They are made of copper and were used currencies circulated in the country between 1007 and 1110 AD. The size of the coins varies from big, medium to small. The big one has a diameter of about 1 1/4 inches, the medium one has a diameter of about 1 1/8 inches and the small one has a diameter of 1 inch.
Coins are donated by ACCCer Angela Wang who works with the continuing education department in the college and can be visited at the Worthington Atlantic City Campus near the mock casino of the Casino Career Institute. Angela is a native of China and visits her homeland and family often.
