The design of the Suzuki left hand stack key is balanced in design and easily manipulated by the left hand fifth finger. They work smoothly and effortlessly because of equalized spring resistance and no excessive spacing between key and roller. The octave key has double cork bumpers and no lateral rod to post movement. High F# key is positioned for comfort and reachable by any sized right hand. Quality Hand Finished Mouthpiece: All Suzuki Alto Saxophone mouthpieces are constructed of the finest high grade plastic. This allows for accurate chamber, rails and tip with a medium close tip opening and lay. Each mouthpiece is hand finished with special emphasis given to the crucial mouthpiece tip. Now the beginning student can readily achieve immediate success with an easier blowing, more focused sounding quality mouthpiece. Complete with ligature, 2 reeds and metal mouthpiece cap. Top Grade Leather Pads and Metal Resonating Discs: For many decades, leather pads and metal resonator discs on the larger key cups of a saxophone, have been standard. Lately, manufacturers have begun using synthetic pads and plastic resonator cups to save cost and cut corners. Suzuki saxophones maintain the use of higher quality leather/metal combination. The advantage is durability, better tone projection and superior sound projection. Carefully hand seated pads are exclusively used to give the player the best opportunity to create even the most difficult notes. Hand Assembled and Adjusted Keys: Saxophones are notorious for adjustment problems of the large keys and long rods resulting in poor tone and difficulty in producing certain notes. Suzuki saxophones feature hand assembled and adjusted keys for perfect fit resulting in smooth key operation. The Suzuki alto saxophone has a remarkably professional sound. Rich, warm, focused and centered, its beautifully expressive tone quality will result in a player being encouraged to practice and improve. Professional Logo Engraving: Found on only the most expensive professional imported saxophones, all Suzuki saxophones have expertly hand engraved logos. The engraved logo on the saxophone bell is beautiful, yet especially difficult to produce due to the compound curve of the saxophone bell. Students will take pride in knowing that their instrument has the quality look, feel and sound of an instrument that cost much more. Rugged Aluminum "Roadie" Case: Lightweight and "hip" looking, every music student will be excited and proud to carry their chosen instrument in a Suzuki "Roadie" style case. Its special construction will protect the instrument for many years. Unlike a soft case which exposes the instrument to damage, our strong aluminum frame and custom formed soft foam interiors provide the ultimate choice for long term use.
