7" rolo-style toggle bracelet w/ dog-tag-style heart charm. Custom designed jewelry from Lee Michaels Jewelers, based on the well-known LA/SPCA dog and cat in a heart motif. The charm is handcrafted of sterling silver and contains space for personalized engraving. This is one of the few things that survived in the Japonica Street shelter. Once staff was allowed back in the building, after the flood waters subsided, long time staff members, Evelyn Simon and Kathryn Destreza, dug the jewelry out of the slim and muck. Although valued at $75, they are priceless in what they represent.
