Description

Vermont artist David Mischke's pottery is both homey and elegant. This covered dish measures 7.5" diameter and is 3" deep.
The pots are reduction fired to 2400 degrees to bring out the rich tones in the oatmeal glaze. The chun blue interior glaze shocks you with its vibrant display while the delicate hand incised designs demand their share of the visual effect. Each piece receives the attention needed to bring out its full potential. Decorations, inspired by David's exquisite garden and universal designs from ancient history, are carefully selected to match the particular form of each piece.
