If you have ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes before Derby Day then this item is for you!  This is a very special personal view of the final preparations made by the owners and trainers of the greatest Thoroughbred horses for the “greatest two minutes in sports,” the Kentucky Derby.

Be escorted (adults preferred, time and date is fixed) to the backside of Churchill Downs (stable area) and join the world’s media to witness the final workouts of the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks entrants. Visit the barns where the contenders are stabled and witness live interviews by the trainers by the world wide media. Witness live television and radio broadcasts from the Backside Media Center. See the movers and shakers in Kentucky’s signature industry and watch these beautiful four footed athletes prepare for “the chance of a lifetime in a lifetime of chance.” Tour includes breakfast at the world famous Wagner’s Track Kitchen. Access to the backside of Churchill Downs is carefully regulated and this tour should take place regardless of the weather.
