Runner-up for most valuable player honors in the 1958 NCAA, Cox was highly instrumental in Kentucky's pickup of the record fourth trophy being examined by the pair. The game ball from the championship contest rests in front of the trophies."
This media guide prepared by the UK Sports Publicity Office in 1958 contains about 75 pages of information about the Wildcat team and its coaching staff, led by head coach Adolph Rupp, "the nations winningest basketball coach," an analysis of the upcoming season and profiles of the student athletes. This copy has the signature of "Helen King," director of the UK Alumni Association in 1958 on the cover.
