Do you know? In 1978, the Kentucky Horse Park, the world's only park dedicated to man's relationship with the horse, opened to the public. It features various exhibits and tours dealing with the history of horses and horse racing. Standing proudly on the grounds is a bronze statue commemorating the famed thoroughbred Man O’War. The facility also features a campground, complete with tennis and basketball courts, a swimming pool, a playground, and an activities pavilion. With numerous special events and festivals scheduled from month to month, there’s always something exciting going on at the Kentucky Horse Park.
