Description
As playwright and star, Joan Rivers brings the World-Premiere of her four-character autobiographical play, Joan Rivers: A Work in Progress by a Life in Progress, to the Geffen Playhouse. Set immediately before Hollywood's biggest award preshow, Rivers uses her interactions with the other characters as well as her dressing room (B, not A), her cheese plate (puny, not plentiful) and her producer (the bigwig's brother-in-law, not the bigwig), as impetus for an introspective look at aging, going through life's ups and downs and being a woman in Hollywood. Don't miss the incredible opportunity to see this groundbreaking Emmy Award winning talk show host, Tony nominated actress and legendary comic icon onstage at the Geffen, up close and personal.
Two tickets, Orchestra level, Saturday, March 15th at the Geffen Playhouse - 8:30 p.m.
