Description
"A Postcard from California" is a whimsical view of
our great state. A large canvas(3'x5')with beautiful
green, blue, and earth-colored undertones, it is
bursting with history and landmarks, each painted by a
child in the class. Included are the official State
bird, flag, flower, animal, capital, and motto; as
well icons such as the Hollywood sign, the Golden Gate
bridge, and Disneyland. Topographical markers are
shown as well, from the High Sierras to the low
deserts and the shimmering Pacific Ocean. The children
painted these scenes while studying California
history, and thoroughly enjoyed the process. Come
visit our great state as represented on this amazing
canvas!
