This auction lot includes a sumptuous, private “Meet the Winemaker” dinner for five couples with the owner of Shafer Vineyards, John and Barbara Shafer, at Toscana restaurant in Brentwood. Dinner will be served in the private dining room. Each course will be specially paired with a selection of Shafer wines, including Hillside Select. The winning bidder will also need to find space in his or her cellar for a rare five-year vertical of Hillside Select, vintages 2000 through 2004, in 750ml bottles.
