Entertaining the Idea of Tea, an upscale retail tea boutique, has relocated to 5th Avenue in Old Town Scottsdale by the horse fountain.  The shop was originally located in Albuquerque, NM.

The warm and inviting store features a French-Asian look.  Soft music, which is also available for purchase, contributes to the store's ambiance. Original oil paintings by Susan Westwood, originally from Exmoor Village in England and now  living in Arvada, Colorado complete the decor and are for sale.

In addition to teas, herbals, teapots, bone china, cozies and accessories from around the world, the shop also carries a beautiful line of trivets and coasters and an unusual line of greeting cards, and notes. The candle department features "Village Candles" with accessories to match your mood and decor. The "Patio Candles" have only natural ingredients to chase pests away and contain no citronella. There are also accessories to complement your patio or garden design.

A nice assortment of books can be found in an inviting  and comfy seating area for your browsing enjoyment.  There are books on all types of tea related subjects from herb gardens to tea party ideas, including recipes.  And no tea would be complete without some imported cookies or British biscuits.
