Description
A case (12 bottles) of 2004 Cuvee de Colibri wine.
This cuvee is a blend of five wines, 30% syrah, 20% Grenache, 20% Mourverde, 15% Counoise, and 15% Roussanne. This wine offers a more sublte range of flavor layers and a larger role for the Mourverde in the blend. Nice depth and layers of flavor; hints of lilac from the Syrah, the Mourverde nose, a bit of Grenache finish, and of course that unique Counoise raspberry-rhubarb note. Serves well beside roasted turkey, kabobs of beef, smoked meats, bar-b-que, and robust cheeses.
Colibri Vineyard is located in the Chiricahua Mountains of Southeastern Arizona.
