There are no fish embedded in acrylic here. Quebec-born artist Gilles Peltier of Naples, Florida carved the scene in reverse, from behind, using a precision drill. Then he colored the scene using brushes, syringes, and pipe cleaners - even his fingers! It's a process he developed after accidentally dropping his goldsmithing drill on an acrylic display.
