Description
This incredible photograph is the work of Copley Artist photographer James S. Robbins of Boston and donated by him in conjunction with Elaine Hill of Gallery 4 at Tiverton Four Corners. You're looking at a woman in Rajahstan, India, working with her wooden hoe and coaxing food to grow in the dry soil through daily hard work and force of will, as has been done for centuries. Her sari and the dust around her virtually glow with fire, backlit in the setting afternoon sun. This signed, numbered print is one of only 100, digitally printed with pigmented ink on museum archival-quality paper. It is professionally framed with archival, 8-ply mats.
