This watercolor comes by its title honestly: Christine painted it en plein air, sitting under a big shade tree at the Westport Winery, looking through the shade of the arbor and flowers in the foreground to the farmland in the distance. The artist is a member of the American Society of Marine Artists, Rhode Island Watercolor Society, Cape Cod Art Association and the Marion Art Center. Her work is shown at the Donovan Gallery in Tiverton and the Riverside Art Gallery in Somerset.
