Janice -- a passionate person absorbed in color -- created this painting during a flood in Hawaii. She worked outdoors -- in the rain, under a palm tree -- with her airbrush, oils and stencils, day and night, until she achieved the look she wanted. Her journey as an artist started at RISD, with stops in Florida and New York. She's a member of the South County and Wickford Art Associations, and has a solo show underway now at Narragansett's McGrath Judicial Complex.
