Frequent trips to Chatham inspired this original watercolor. It reflects images of summers gone by, telling the story of a faithful craft, once treasured, that's no longer useful. But as it sits ignored, it still projects an air of dignity, as if to let you know it once served its masters well. Judith LaMothe began studying arts in high school, eventually taking up watercolors seriously after her children were grown.
