The Castle Hill Light began protecting ships near Brenton Reef in 1890. This beautiful view of the familiar, Newport landmark is a hand-colored etching. As you know, etching creates a plate that may be re-inked and reused to create multiple copies. But hand-coloring by the artist yields a one-of-a-kind piece.
