Second graders have tapped into their personal Van Gogh, as they created a masterpiece of their own.  "The Wave" is a mixed medium painting that illustrates their imaginative interpretation of the beach.  Painted on canvas in non-traditional hues of green, orange and gold "The Wave" also showcases copper, cheesecloth and natural seashells.  It's a true work of art from the most creative group of Second graders ever known to paint!  Mrs. Z and Miss Newman almost fell over when the children presented it to them. (Which obviously means Mrs. Z didn't have enough coffee that morning!)  This is one of a kind!
