Fiona and Hal Barnett created this winery in 1983 to produce small amounts of hand crafted Cabernet Sauvignon wines from their estate in the Spring Mountain District of Napa Valley.  This has become known as a unique microclimate, producing exceptional Cabernet Sauvignons and Merlots.  As the owners of this bottle state: "This vintage saw a long, cool spring give way to a mild summer and ripened under conditions that allowed a long hang-time that resulted in fruit of concentrated varietal flavors with a strong backbone of acid."  All we know is that it's a great bottle of wine, which you will cherish for a very special occasion.
