Scaled down in size, the Steel Drum is a musical instrument with a bright, true tone.  The drum is a tabletop version of pan steel drums, which have cultural significance throughout the Caribbean Islands.  Tuned to the Western diatonic scale, the drum bowl is marked with the note names to make playing easier.
