For Art's Sake was founded in 1994 by Debbe Heller-Lewkowicz, an art teacher at P.S. 87 for 12 years. I will meet your child/children at P.S. 87 and deliver him/her to a spacious, well lit studio for an afternoon of art, art history, crafts, and fun. There we will relax and snack for ten minutes, while children from other schools, public and private, join us for the afternoon. Each class has about ten to twelve students of a similar age.
