Director of New York City's rock music summer camp, DayJams, David Moreno is a renowned performer and composer and an experienced arts administrator. He has worked with Day Jams for seven years, first as a teacher, then as the director of the Westchester campus and New York City campus. In addition, David Moreno is the chairperson of Guitar Studies at the Third Street Music School Settlement, one of New York's most established and most respected community music schools. At Third Street, Moreno supervises a faculty of seven artist-teachers and over one hundred and fifty guitar students. The program includes instruction for students in classical, jazz and rock guitar. By the way, David teaches P.S. 75 graduate Angus Seager, and if you've seen Angus play, you know what a great teacher David is.
