Just northwest of Gainesville and bordering the Red River, the 4500 acre Southern Cross Ranch offers a guided whitetail deer hunt.  The ranch has  been only lightly hunted by family and friends over the last 10 years and the harvest of trophy bucks has not been allowed.  The level III managed lands permit allows for a longer season and more flexible wildlife.   Two people for three days.  Includes food, lodging, guide and skinning.
