A Collection of sixteenth century borders. This volume is dedicated to frontispieces and title pages of early printed books of the High Renaissance. Woodcuts and engravings of frontispieces, title pages, page borders, chapter headers, capital initial letters and printer’s devices were needed for this new fast growing craft.

Our graphic objects can be used by graphic designers, web masters, librarians, teachers, students and anyone who appreciates the fine arts of our ancestors. No particular skills or complicated graphic software is needed to give a different personality to documents, letters, invitation, cards, banners, brochures, posters, etc.
