- A Year With Frog and Toad. 6 tickets. The new musical based on the the award-winning books by Arnold Lobel, A Year with Frog and Toad. Sold out performances in New York. Now on the Solano College Theatre stage. Conceived by Adrianne Lobel (Arnold Lobel's daughter), with music by Robert Reale and book and lyrics by Willie Reale. Tried and true friends Frog and Toad navigate through an adventure-filled year, joined by some colorful companions along the way. Set to a jazzy score, this charming musical lovingly captures the spirit of Lobel's whimsical stories as this unlikely friendship blossoms and grows.
