About the Brewmaster, Nick Campbell

A graduate of the American Brewers Guild course in 2004, Nick has been with Blue Frog since May of 2004. As an avid home brewer, Nick become accustomed to experimentation that still follows him in to the brew house today. Trained classically as chef, Nick spent many years in fine dinning kitchens in Arizona, Oregon, the US Virgin Islands and the Napa Valley where he learned not only the intricacies of food and wine pairing, but also pairing beer and food .

A fan of hops and yeastie lovin' Nick strives to create balanced beers that are tasty on their own as well as the tasty faire at the Blue Frog.

Next time you are in Blue Frog and see Campbell (as he's been lovingly nicknamed) behind the glass in the brew house, stop in and say hi!

Blue Frog's Hefewiezen was the top ranked Wheat beer at the West Coast Brew Fest, making this the second straight year the Hefe has beaten out top west coast competitors.
