Judeen Young was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and has lived most of her life in South Florida. She attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale where she graduated with a degree in Advertising Design.

Up until 1998 when Judeen began painting, she had thought of herself as an illustrator, and now enjoys the freedom that painting gives her. Versatile in many different artistic type and imagery, she likes to explore different mediums and techniques. Judeen considers this a great learning process which allows her to grow and improve her skills as an artist. She believes her talent is a gift from God, allowing her do what she loves.
