===========================================
Pacific Hardware is one of the few family owned/operated hardware stores. When I lived in Vacavile they were my stop of choice - they not only have an unbelievable selection of most everything you will need they also know how to repair/install virtually everything around the home (and graciously share that knowledge)
Imagine a hardware store that you can get to in less than a minute with unlimited floor space and no waiting. A store that has every product you could possibly think of and some that you never knew existed. That hardware store is now a reality with the new Ourhouse.com online ordering site. Through this service, you can order hard-to-find and common hardware products through our new online catalogue. Just visit our website and enter Ourhouse.com and start exploring the world of on-line ordering. Make sure to always enter Ourhouse.com through the link on our page and have the merchandise delivered to our store to qualify for special pricing and promotions!
Pacific Hardware is owned and operated by the McKenzie family which has a long history in retailing. In 1893, W.D. McKenzie founded the Monticello General Mercantile Co. located in the small town of Monticello, California. Albert McKenzie, W.D.'s son, took over the business and operated the store until 1956 when he evacuated his property so the valley could be flooded with water and turned into what is now known as Lake Berryessa. In June, 1957, Albert McKenzie Sr. (Bruz) and his son Albert Jr. (Sandy) took over ownership and management of the Pacific Hardware store on Merchant Street in the Vacaville business district.
