East of the City is an oil painting generously donated by the Polit family from exceptional artist Emil Polit of Poland.  Dimensions of the painting are: unframed 28" x 22" and framed, "32.75 x 26.75."

In 1996, Polit won the Rzeszow Heritage Award for his unique and sizeable contributions to shaping and developing the region's art environment. In 2003, he received the National Art Educator award and in tandem, he has attracted many prominent art collectors over the years. His paintings can be found in Poland, USA, the Vatican, Italy, Belgium, Austria and France. The proceeds from this item will go to WFYI's Campagin for the Future: The Power of Possibities.
