Sharon writes, "Art constumes me, second only to love which is all encompassing and my relationship with God the Creator, the gifter of art and all good things. I feel very fortunate to be a New England painter. There is an amazing amount of history, charm and natural beauty. My inspiration is the harbor, the sea, billowing summer flowers and the architecture which anchors it. I am challenged by the changing light and other variables working en plein air. Several galleries represent my work, among them is the Willoughby Fine Art Gallery on the Vineyard, the Rockport Art Association, the North Shore Arts Association, the Princeton Art Society and the Portrait Society of America. Portraits are my winter focus. My studio has been in Lancaster MA since 1977".
