Description

This auction item is an original watercolor still-life by RAA Artist Mary Robbins. This beautiful painting measures 18 1/2x22 1/2" and is ready to hang in your home.

Mary Robbins presently works with Japanese papers, which calls for challenging techniques and best expresses her artistic vision. She is an impressionist and calls herself - without apology – a romantic, communicating both serenity and mystery in her art.

Mary Robbins studied watercolor painting with Polly Nordell of Boston and John Chetcuti of Rockport. She is a member of Rockport and North Shore Arts Associations, and her works have been collected and exhibited throughout the country and abroad. She is best known for her watercolors on rice paper and masa paper.
