This auction item is a stunning original silk painting, titled "Full Bloom", by renowned artist and RAA Member Judith Steele Goetemann.

This beautiful work of art was created by painting on silk with special silk dyes.

Judith Steele Goetemann 4th generation native of Gloucester, began her painting career at the age of 8 as a student of Cape Ann artist Alice Beech Winter. Judith, who is both painter and batik artist, is into her 28th year of co-owning and operating her gallery with husband Gordon.

After recently attending an international batik conference in Boston, she has begun experimentation with silk and batik techniques that are promising fresh and exciting horizons for future work.

Judith has become active in the promotion of the arts and cultural development in the area, and was recently honored with 3 listings in the 2006 publication of Marquis Who’s Who of American Women, . . . of America, and . . . In The World.

This item can be shipped via UPS (contact the RAA for a delivery estimate) or picked up at the Art Association. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs.
