Ramsay is the second label of Kent Rasmussen, a winemaker best known for his outstanding Pinot Noir from the Carneros district. This is a solidly made Pinot Noir made from grapes sourced from the North Coast of California. This elegant wine is light ruby in color, with tinges of garnet, and exudes distinct aromas of earth, red berries and leather. The wine is medium-bodied, with rich fruit flavors, excellent balance and a long, lingering finish. Serve this tasty Pinot Noir with soft cheeses or lamb chops with a rosemary, mustard crust.
