This wine comes from one of the oldest producers of wine in California. The winery and main vineyards are located in Livermore but fruit can be selected from top vineyards throughout the state. This 1999 release is ready to pour. Rocky soil, warm days and cool nights make for pure Syrah fruit that jumps from the glass. Flavors of dark cherry and blackberry mix with earthy mineral tones. KH
