The Conservatory Pond is located on the East Side of the 72nd Street Transverse in Central Park. The image is of the water and Kerb's Memorial Boathouse. The water became known unofficially as the Model Boat Pond. The Kerbs Memorial Boat House, built in 1954, features a copper roof that now has a distinctive dull green patina defining Conservatory Water.
