Artist Statement:

The color prints shown here are in part a direct response to my first time traveling in Europe, most notable the time spent in both Rome and Venice with its eastern influences.

The series titled Arabesque is made up of many small plates, mostly etching but also some relief plates. Inked and printed in a monoprint technique. A great deal of time is spent mixing the color inks, rotating plates, changing orientation and pattern to create an endless possibility of impressions.
