Chef Toohey lives in Medfield, MA with his family. A Connecticut native, Toohey began cooking as a child. “My mother was my first inspiration – she frequently gave me the opportunity to cook for my family and encouraged me.”
Toohey graduated from Johnson & Wales in 1996 with a degree in culinary arts. Most recently Toohey was the Executive Chef at Aura in the Seaport Hotel, but he has also worked in the kitchens of Trinity Brew House in Providence, R.I., David's in the North End and the Capital Grille in Boston.
