Have your kids ever asked you what the Gala is all about and what happens there?  Do they want to know why they can’t come to Dance Night?   Do they wish they had their own party to go to?  Let them be part of the Gala fever that grips ISTP in March!  This pint-sized Gala preview for 3rd – 5th graders will be a night they won’t forget!  Communications Manager Jovi Craig and Maintenance Associate Nic Guèdenet will DJ the music with age appropriate current hits, treasures from the past and international favorites.  A group of parent volunteers will teach the kids some fancy dance moves like the Electric Slide, the Macarena, Hustle, old classics such as Mashed Potato and YMCA as well newer hip hop moves.  Camila Valdes and Katie Dillon, from the Development Office, will chaperone the young dancers and serve some Filipino style refreshments and cocktails  (non-alcoholic, of course!).

Kids love to dance – and this group has outgrown the baby dance, yet they aren’t allowed to really go to the older kids dances. This fun evening will give them the opportunity to do something they naturally enjoy and experience a “dance.”
