The Austin Ice Bats are proud to be the official CHL Affiliate of the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League and the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League.

Through the arrangement, the Ice Bats receive AHL-contracted players from the Wild organization, and have the opportunity to place players in the Aeros' pre-season training camp.  This helps to improve the talent level of the Ice Bats, while fulfilling our mission to continue developing players so they may continue in their hockey careers.
