Lama Lobsang Palden, Master Momo-Maker, guides you through the process of crafting these traditional steamed dumplings, step-by-step. Enjoy a Himalayan feast and warm your tummy with Tibetan comfort food!
We will make both vegetarian and meat-filled momos, accompanied by fresh-made dipping sauces. We will also learn to make thukpa (handmade noodle soup), dyed sey (sweet rice), and ting mo (saffron-infused bread). We will use fresh and organic ingredients.
Lama Lobsang cooked with his grandparents in Tibet, and he cooked for his entire monastery in India. Now you can learn to make the world-famous momos and other delicious Tibetan dishes!
BYOB: bring your own beverages and appetizers or sides, if desired. We will provide the ingredients and any special cooking equipment required. Class given by appointment subject to teacher's availability.

Authentic Tibetan dishes you will learn to make:
Momo: steamed, filled dumpling; served with accompanying sauce
Thukpa: pulled noodles in soup
