Description
Second Grader Harper Eastman will provide (2) half hour ice skating lessons at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena during the Arena's free skate time (to be arranged). Harper is a level 8 skater and won 1st place in her age group and 2nd overall in the division as the youngest skater at the CR Ice Skating Classic. After your personal lesson, you will be able to practice what Harper taught you. Perfect for beginners or anyone who wants to brush up on the basics.
Special Instructions
Please note that Harper will teach you skills utilizing the US Figure Skating Assocations teaching methods. You will learn everything from how to begin pushing off, how to swizzle, and how to get up when you fall down. Harper recommends a helmet for first time skaters. Skates are available at the arena or you are welcome to bring your own. If you choose to rent your skates at the arena, Harper will pay for your skate rental and your rink time as part of your lesson. Harper would work best with ages 5 and up.
